 Living at the foot of Mount Shasta for over 35 years, I was privileged to enjoy bracing landscapes, the magical wonder of the mountain, and the year-round seasonal changes this region offers. By creating this fragrance I have chosen to present a few of my own personal scent memories of my beloved Mount Shasta. Shasta Essence is inspired and built around the forest scents of Douglas fir and Incense cedar, lush mountain meadows, and the charged atmosphere of fresh, pure mountain air. Surrounding the mountain you will find old growth forests that capture scents of earth, moss and pine needles.After enduring many long, cold Mount Shasta winters, I have an intense appreciation for anything that blooms in Spring. For Shasta Essense I have chosen luscious spring lilacs, mingled in with notes of vintage rose and lavender. Reminiscent of late summer, the green and unmistakable tomato leaf scent blends amazingly with the floral and conifer fragrances.The creation of this fragrance has been both an artistic endeavor and a labor of love that I have cherished and enjoyed. I have appreciated the opportunity to conceptualize and share my interpretation with all lovers of nature and fragrance and if you, like me, have a special love of Mount Shasta, that is even better.
