Musc Angelique Edc

Bright and natural top notes of Red Mandarin and Black pepper bring lightness to  this  earthy natural fragrance.  Inspired by a living Angel on earth who I have not met in person but she has felt  like a kindred soul to me for a number of years.  Dear Virginia, a beautiful artist, yogi and perfume lover who resides in France.   She has undergone so many health challenges and I would like to offer what I can to bring a smile to her face.
I chose Angelica Root as a featured note. While not the most popular perfume note it has a  depth and richness  that is remarkable to experience and is loved by many who crave a dark herbal and slightly bitter intensity.  It is also one of the few botanical musk notes available in perfumery.  
A fresh Lilac accord blends the herbal edges and a smidge of White Rose Otto for both glorious scent and a blessing of love to the wearer.
Sandalwood, Ambrette Musk and Cedar combine with the Angelica in a lasting drydown.
 
 
A bit more  on Angelica:
An important medicine in ancient times, it was used as a cure for the Black Plague and especially revered in folklore as a source of protection and blessing by Archangel Michael.  It is also called Angelica Archangelica and a number of other names throughout different cultures and history.
